'NO' to bullying
It was great fun preparing for this shoot, I designed 'NO' a week before the shoot and asked Cheryl, who has amazing thick red hair to model for me. I managed to wrap her own hair around the letters, without using any fake hair. I wanted to add a personal emphasis to the strength of saying, 'NO', don't put up with bullying, don't keep quiet, speak out.
True beauty lies within
Colours of the Rainbow
My arranged model didn't turn up for this shoot but luckily my very good friend, Hannah Perry stepped in to help.
I was using colour, and different products such as paints, make-up, glitter, sugar and flour to construct an experimental look to represent individuality and freedom of identity construction. It was great fun making this look and that's exactly how you should be able to feel when expressing yourself.

My Final Major Project
I want to explore make-up further, and be more creative with the use of colour and with the hair techniques I use. After a shoot, I can sometimes feel that I could have done better with my designs. I would like to be able to take the shoot further in some cases and be able to explore ideas, enhancing my make-up even more and improvising with make-up possibilities. However, this is not always possible, but my FMP has now given me this chance. So this is what I intend to practice now, whilst at the same time following a brief.
This blog will show my FMP journey, which hopefully after lots of experimentation, make-up exploration and wild ideas; will result in learning new skills and having more confidence to do exactly what I want to achieve, working fast to get it and becoming a better Make-up&hair artist.
